OUR HISTORY

The present owners Sue & Clinton Borders with their son & daughter Gavin & Sabrina have owned the Club since May 1993. During this time many changes have taken place, including major internal alterations including staircase removal and opening up of the ground floor, total resurfacing of the outside car park areas, addition of the fabulous entrance canopy and smoking shelter. Renovation of the rear suntrap patio and further smoking shelter.

Over the last 18 years since the purchase of their sister pub, the Eagle & Child Inn, Gavin has primarily run the Club with his dedicated crew. And more recently with his wife Clare and their 4 children, Alex , Nia, Max and Lola. Following the family tradition.

The Club is finally seeing some normality with restrictions lifted, thus allowing us to provide Live Entertainment, Karaoke, Quiz Night, Pool, Darts, Bingo, Lotto Machine and Great Beers. So come along and join in.

At the Club we have ever changing monthly entertainment with some of the best acts on the North Wales Coast. In addition to our live entertainment we have Karaoke, Bingo, BT Sport, Pool, Darts, regular fund raising events and more. Two years running yet another visit to the central beach club. the owner Gavin borders still as friendly as ever got in and greeted us straight away so did all the staff and all the locals made us welcome too. good beer great atmosphere good entertainment very well worth a visit 10 out 10.

Nice clean family run pub with regular entertainment and friendly staff and serves a very good pint, well worth a try if you’re in the area.

Great Place

Came here again and as before it was fabulous. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was great to sit outside looking up at the hills sipping an ice cold pint of well-kept lager. Highly recommended!

Lovely Place To Stop For A Drink

Visited again and had a fantastic time, staff and people very friendly and I enjoyed the evening, staff couldn’t do enough for me. Everyone was enjoying the evening and having a great time. Highly recommended.

Once Again Fantastic!

I have been here a few times and always found it to be a very friendly and pleasant place to go. Children friendly – and the odd dog also enjoyed the hospitality.

Saw a singer there, called sammi shepherd – she was very good and also funny.

This family run traditional inn can be found at the top of Prestatyn Mountain 5 minutes from the club, in the tranquil conservation village of Gwaenysgor located in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its location is ideal for walkers and sightseers alike, or just for relaxing and enjoying the views.

The inn can accommodate groups of 2 to 100 people, so whether you want a secluded meal for two, a party for family and friends or a work gathering, give the Eagle a ring.
